1. About iPletch
iPletch is a private visual information organization service that helps users save, organize, visually recognize, find and access digital information and connected content. Its core flow is Save → Organize → Find → Open.
The service at https://ipletch.com is operated by Gabor Foti, an individual developer in Switzerland, at Kapellenweg 9, 3989 Biel (Goms), Switzerland. iPletch is the service name, not a separately registered company.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
Please read these Terms before creating an account or using iPletch. These Terms describe the conditions on which the service is offered. If you do not agree, do not create an account or continue using the service. Your mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
Publication of these Terms does not represent proof that an existing user has accepted this version. The current registration interface does not collect a separate versioned Terms acknowledgement. Nothing here retroactively establishes recorded acceptance.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create or use an iPletch account, and have the legal capacity or authorization required to enter into a service agreement under the law that applies to you. A higher applicable local age or authorization requirement also applies.
iPletch does not currently operate independent age or date-of-birth verification. An age requirement is not a claim that age checks have been performed.
4. User Accounts
Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not share credentials or access another person's account without authorization.
Contact security@ipletch.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Available account recovery and third-party sign-in options depend on the current interface and the relevant provider. We do not ask you to disclose your password or provider token by email.
5. The iPletch Service
Available features may include saving and organizing links in workspaces and folders, previews and metadata, search, import/export, preferences and optional media or information tools. Availability may differ during development. Planned features are not promises of current functionality.
These Terms do not introduce a subscription, billing or payment arrangement. If paid features are introduced, their prices and applicable payment, cancellation and other conditions will be presented separately before purchase.
6. User Content
You retain the rights you hold in content you save or upload. iPletch does not acquire ownership of your content. Saving a third-party link or preview does not transfer the third party's intellectual property to you or to iPletch.
You grant the operator only the limited technical permission necessary to provide the service you request: storing, processing, transmitting, displaying and generating or transforming previews of that content. This permission is limited to operating, maintaining and securing the service and handling deletion and retention as described in the Privacy Policy.
This permission does not grant a general license for advertising, profiling, marketing or AI training. Only save or upload material you are entitled to use in this way.
7. Acceptable Use
Do not use iPletch for unlawful activity; infringe copyright or other rights; distribute malware; steal credentials; obtain unauthorized access; bypass security controls; perform abusive automated requests; intentionally disrupt the service; or misuse provider integrations.
Do not place passwords, access tokens or other secrets in saved URLs. Preview requests can transmit the target URL to an external website or preview service. Reasonable technical limits and protective restrictions may be applied to prevent misuse.
8. Third-Party Services and Content
External links, previews, images, metadata and connected content remain under third-party control. Their accuracy, availability and appearance can change. iPletch does not control or endorse every external website or service you choose to access.
Third-party terms and privacy notices may apply. Use your own judgment before following a link or relying on external information. A displayed preview is not a guarantee that a destination is safe, accurate or available.
9. Connected Services and Integrations
Where made available, integrations may connect to Google services, email providers, cloud storage, media/content providers or other external services. This list does not mean every integration is currently available.
Provider access requires a separate user action and the relevant provider authorization. Google sign-in alone does not grant mailbox access. Provider permissions, limits and OAuth terms apply; an integration may be limited, changed or withdrawn by its provider.
Use available disconnect controls or revoke authorization directly with the provider. The Privacy Policy explains current connection controls and their limitations. Revoking a provider connection is separate from deleting your iPletch account.
10. Intellectual Property
The operator and relevant licensors retain their rights in the iPletch application, branding and other service materials. You may use the interface for the purposes offered by the service, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
These Terms do not restrict rights that applicable law gives you, including legally permitted uses of software or third-party material. No trademark clearance or exclusive rights in third-party content are represented.
11. Service Availability and Changes
We aim to operate a useful and reliable service, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, 100% uptime, permanent integrations or unlimited permanent storage. Maintenance, provider failures, security measures and development changes can affect availability.
Where reasonably practicable, we will communicate material service changes or discontinuation and provide an opportunity to export supported saved-link data. Keep an independent copy of important information; the service is not a substitute for your sole backup.
12. Account Suspension and Termination
Access may be restricted or terminated where reasonably necessary to address a serious breach of these Terms, unlawful use, security threats or a binding legal requirement. Restrictions should be proportionate to the issue.
Where lawful and practicable, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact support@ipletch.com to seek review. Immediate action may be necessary to protect users or the service. Ending access does not by itself guarantee complete deletion of every stored record.
13. User Account Deletion
You may stop using the service and request account or personal-data deletion at privacy@ipletch.com. Proportionate identity verification may be required. There is currently no verified complete self-service account-deletion workflow or guaranteed deletion SLA.
Account access termination, active-data deletion, provider authorization, local caches and backup runoff are distinct processes. Backup copies and information necessary for legal or security purposes may be subject to lawful retention. The Privacy Policy describes current operational gaps and limitations; these Terms do not promise immediate, complete automatic erasure.
14. Privacy
The Privacy Policy at /privacy describes personal-data handling, current providers, connected services, retention, your rights and unresolved governance matters. It is separate from these service conditions. Accepting service terms is not blanket consent to optional or unrelated processing.
Your saved collection is private to your account in the user-facing service. Necessary infrastructure processing and permitted legal/security disclosures are described in the Privacy Policy. This is not an absolute privacy or security guarantee.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and third-party information are offered without a promise that they meet every particular purpose or remain accurate, complete or permanently available. No exclusion overrides mandatory warranties, remedies or consumer rights.
Information displayed through iPletch is not professional legal, medical or financial advice. The existence of legal notices does not certify complete compliance with every applicable regulation.
16. Limitation of Liability
Liability is determined under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where the law prohibits such exclusion.
Any limitation must be interpreted narrowly, reasonably and consistently with mandatory consumer protections. These Terms do not impose an arbitrary monetary cap or remove remedies that applicable law provides.
17. Claims and Responsibility
Each party remains responsible under applicable law for harm caused by its own unlawful conduct. These Terms do not impose a blanket indemnity or automatic duty on users to defend the operator against every third-party claim.
Please notify support@ipletch.com of a rights-related claim concerning the service so it can be assessed. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information or credentials.
18. Changes to These Terms
Changes will be published with an updated date and document version. Material changes will be brought to your attention through an appropriate available channel before they take effect where required by law.
We will obtain further agreement when legally required. Publication alone does not create a record of acceptance, authorize materially new optional processing or remove accrued mandatory rights. If you cannot agree to a change, you may stop using the service and request deletion.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Swiss law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory laws that apply to you. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections available under the law of your habitual residence where applicable.
Jurisdiction is determined by applicable law and treaties, including mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules. These Terms do not impose an exclusive forum that removes your right to bring a claim in a court available to you under those rules.
